Welcome to Junglist

This page seems to receive more than its fair share of visitors and the interest is great, but there's not a lot to see or do here just yet. Clearly the Junglist Movement is still kicking along. Confession time; I'm not actually a Junglist. Well, not in the purist sense anyway, but who really is?

In fact, my favourite band is Metallica and I haven't worn cammo since the early 90's. I happen to like techno and heavy metal equally. Not only that, I can still be caught listening to some of the lamest 80's pop you could imagine. I was, however, listening to techno (and heavy metal, for that matter) along with all the variants way before any of it became mainstream, so you'll have to give me credit for that, at least. :)

I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing with this site yet. I'd like to do something beyond slapping up another forum, for which I think there are already plenty. I have a particular idea in mind, but it involves a fair bit of code and infrastructure, so it could take a while.

It has been suggested that I provide a brief history on Junglists and the like, but I kind of figured that the visitor's Jungle\D'n'B knowledge was kind of intrinsic in the visit itself. Nevertheless, I might provide one anyway and try to de-lamertise it as much as possible.
